NOTE: (2010-12-27) - 19:29-40 - Jesus fitted into the prophetic scriptures setting forth God's Messiah riding on a colt - not a war horse. Not one foretelling scripture concerning Himself was omitted! He knew every one, and ensured that allwere fulfilled!

And on this Palm Sunday, the people, and especially the children - greeted Jesus with their Hosannas - greeting the King of kings who came in the Name of the Lord, God Jehovah. This deeply offended the Jewish rulers, and added fuel to their determination to eradicate Him! But He wasall He claimed to be - and upon His soon returning, allwill acknowledge that He always was all He claimed, with the full approval of His Father.

19:41-44. In the Book of Revelation, earthly Jerusalem is set forth for all the evil committed in and by her. It is the Heavenly Jerusalem, which at the end of the Millennium will descend to earth, which alone has God's full approval. God's estimate of earthly Jerusalem is not good.

19:45-46 - The Temple which Solomon built, which his father David had planned from God, and which through so many kings of Israel and Judah had been corrupted - Jesus twice showed His displeasure at the corruption of His Father's House in His day.

19:47-48 - The lastweek of Jesus in the Gospels takes up 1/5 to 1/3 of their total space. It is herethat God places His mark of importance by the space accorded to it. And as Jesus daily that last week taught in His Father's House - so His enemies finalized their plans for His destruction. J.A.W.
